Amerigo Vespucci ship model

This is an exact scale model of the famous school ship of the Italian Navy. She was planned by lieutenant colonel Francesco Rotundi, following the trends of sailing warships. She was launched in 1931 at the Navy ship yards of Castellammare di Staia Naples.

Astrolabe ship model

Mantua's Astrolabe is a fine reproduction of a typical French sloop from the early 1800’s. this model was built up using plans obtained from the French Naval Museum of Paris. The Astrolabe was a famous exploration and survey vessel.

Constitution ship model

This is a nice scale model of the American ship Constitution. After two abortive attempts, she was finally launched on 31st. December 1797. She became known as Old Ironsides and continued in service until 1897 when she was towed back to the scene of her launching in Boston and remains there as an American shrine and museum.

Endeavour ship model

This ship was originally built as a collier in Whitby and was bought and refitted by the Royal Navy in 1768. The works included the addition of a further deck to provide cabin accommodation. She was then re-launched under her new name Endeavour and went on to become famous as Captain Cooks ship in his scientific journey of discovery.
